Rewind
A unique nostalgia concept in Broadview Heights with genuinely great cooking — standout blackened chicken slab salad, crisp portobello fries, scratch burgers, and retro games for kids.

TONY'S ROVING REPORT
Today we stopped by the Rewind restaurant in Broadview Heights. The Slab Salad topped with blackened chicken was phenomenal. The chicken was exceptionally juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, while the fresh salad underneath gave the dish a great balance of richness and crunch.
The Asian slaw was another standout, hitting that sweet-and-tangy balance perfectly with bright, bold flavor in every bite. The portobello fries were crisp and golden with just the right amount of crunch, paired with a scratch-made sauce that took them to another level.
The creamy buffalo chicken dip was rich without being overwhelming and worked perfectly with the warm pita. The Mediterranean bowl was fresh and well composed, with red pepper hummus, rice, and salad creating a satisfying mix of flavors and textures. Even the mushy peas were a surprise, simple but genuinely delicious.
And the burger absolutely delivered. Juicy, perfectly prepared, and served on a gluten-free bun that actually complemented the burger rather than feeling like a substitute.
Across the board, the food showed attention to flavor, texture, and preparation. There wasn't just one standout dish. The entire table delivered.
They've also thought through the family experience. If you're dining with kids, ask for one of their drawing pads or Game Boy-style players so they can stay entertained while the adults actually enjoy their meal. They've already put up their Halloween decor, and even switch out the movie posters to match the season, which adds another fun layer to the concept.
It's such a unique idea, but more importantly, it works. Between the genuinely good cooking, family-friendly details, and laid-back atmosphere, this is the kind of place that feels easy to come back to again and again. I definitely will.
